Copyright policy

We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. Files are private to the person who uploaded them and are deleted automatically, but we act promptly on valid notices.

Reporting infringement

Send a notice to support@doctypeswitch.com with the subject “Copyright notice”, including:

1. Your name and contact details, and authority to act for the rights holder.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work.
3. Information that lets us identify the material (for example a job ID or transaction reference, if you have it).
4. A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised.
5. A statement that the information is accurate, and your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply with an explanation and your contact details. We will review it, tell the person who sent the original notice, and restore access where the law allows (for example under the Copyright Act 2022 of Nigeria). Because files are deleted automatically within hours, most notices concern files that no longer exist.

Repeat infringers

We suspend accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
